This panel of 16 earthenware tiles is decorated with one of the four motifs that made up the ornamental paved floor in the Psyche gallery at the Château of Ecouen. The central shield is divided: the Montmorency arms (gold with a red cross and sixteen blue eagles) are on the left side and those of the de Savoies (red with a silver cross) on the right. It is framed by two cornucopias.
